Programs and Services
Learn more about ethics review, training courses, workshops and other program offerings and services of PSSC.
PSSC set up the Social Science Ethics Review Board (SSERB) to take the lead in promoting ethical standards and practices in social science research. SSERB accepts and processes ethics clearance applications.
PSSC designs and conducts training workshops that aim to improve the quality and standards of social science research, publication, extension or public service work, and teaching. PSSC can also conduct training needs analyses and customize training courses for organizations.
PSSC provides a broad range of services, beginning with conference planning to onsite support, and to post conference activities.
PSSC offers three types of secretariat services that its member-organizations may avail: (1) full secretariat support; (2) desktop assistance; and (3) bookkeeping assistance.
PSSC helps international and local foundations and agencies to administer or implement fellowships and scholarship programs.
PSSC encourages the affiliation of externally funded projects of its member associations or academics or scholars with a reputable record of scholarship and professional training. In these undertakings, the Council may either be the proponent or serve as the cooperating entity.
